Alex James came to visit us again last week to pick up his green overcheck suit. We also wanted him to meet Lauren, the student from Central St Martins who designed the fabric from which the suit was made. She was so excited and couldn't stop smiling when he arrived! He had brought some new tan brogued boots from Auburn & Wills to wear with the suit which really completed his 'country' look.

Alex is wearing the suit here with one of our crisp white Bespoke shirts (£180), and a chocolate brown knitted tie to match the suit's lining.

It was a pleasure to introduce Alex to Lauren finally, and I'm glad that Alex likes his suit so much. He told me that David Cameron said it was the coolest suit he'd ever seen!! I must get in touch with David again as he is a customer – I dressed both him and Gordon a few years ago. Alex also very kindly brought us some more of his award winning Evenlode No 1 Little Wallop goats cheese (http://www.evenlodepartnership.co.uk/) that my family and I enjoyed so much over Christmas! Cracker anyone?!
