Elder Street Atelier

Our bespoke atelier is situated in multi-cultural Spitalfields, in London’s East End, a location bursting with creativity and renewed energy.

A charming area on the edge of the city’s square mile, Spitalfields is historically known for the migration of French silk weaving during the late 17th to early 19th Century. Today it attracts millions of visitors a year for its colourful and bustling markets, the famous curry houses and vintage stores of Brick Lane, as well as being a source of inspiration for creatives alike and for the trend-setting street-style of its locals.

Expect the unexpected in Spitalfields. This quarter is home to an array of boutiques and local haunts sure to appeal to individuals with eclectic style and discerning taste.

The area is well known for its art scene and amongst the many well known artists living in Spitalfields are Gilbert and George, Tracy Emin, and Stuart Brisley.

Timothy Everest’s Bespoke Atelier is located in a quiet, picturesque side street tucked away from the bustling thoroughfares. Based in an 18th Century townhouse our Atelier offers a relaxing sanctuary for clients wanting to escape into a world of personalised attention to their sartorial needs.

Covering four levels, the house is ideally suited to its function as a tailor’s workshop yet its interiors allude to an artist's dwelling. Upon entering the front hallway, be greeted by the fragrance of sandalwood and the sound of Timothy’s eclectic music collection lulling over the hum of shears at work.
