What a whirlwind the last few months have been! It seems the end of 2009 flew by. I started off the New Year very humbled by the news that I will be receiving an MBE from Her Majesty on the 12th of February! I was interviewed about it on BBC Radio Wales last week which brought up many old memories of when I started out in the industry. Thank you to all of you who have sent your well wishes and messages of support!

I am getting a bit tired of the snow now… although of course the kids have loved it! The design team and I were meant to fly out to Pitti Uomo (menswear trade show in Florence) yesterday but all flights out of Gatwick Airport were cancelled so unfortunately we will miss out this season. I was really looking forward to catching up over a truffle tagliette and a glass of Chianti!

The weekend just gone was really busy as we were shooting the Spring Summer 10 campaign for Cambridge Members, the Korean menswear brand we are consulting to. The location was Hampton Court House which made an incredible backdrop with its pastel shaded walls and decadent oversized-tiled floor theatre (think Alice in Wonderland). We worked with the great photographer David Goldman once again who shot our Timothy Everest AW 2007 Campaign and Julia Carta who did the grooming on the past 3 Rake Magazine editorials we art directed, styled and produced (she also does Simon Cowell’s grooming on X-factor and just finished a brief tour with Hugh Grant). We are really pleased with the results of the Spring Summer Campaign. My team put a lot of hours into making sure it was a success despite the snow that seemed to bring the whole country to a halt!
