Chapter Two Lookbook
Ready to Wear
For the inspiration behind the new seasonal ready-to-wear collection for Spring Summer 21, we took a metaphorical trip to the Ancient Kingdom Of Lo in the Mustang region of the Himalayas. This forbidden city high in the Nepalese mountains is as remote and isolated from the world as it is mythical.
The cloths have a light yet dense feel, selected for layering in mind; loosely woven cottons and linens echo the billow of flags, the Dobby stripe shirts taking their cue from the painted walls of every home. Fabrics have a washed quality adding a softness to both hue and feel. The collection employs volume in new ways for us, with pleating and drape bringing a welcome comfort to trousers, jackets and outerwear. There is a fresh focus on modern design fused with heritage allure.
