Autumn / Winter18

“O Dreaming trees, sunk in a swoon of sleep
What have ye seen in these mysterious places?”
– Paul Nash 1909

Timothy Everest’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection has drawn inspiration from British Modernist painter Paul Nash (1889-1946). Nash took an often surreal, magical look at the British countryside, aiming to capture its enigmatic and numinous wonder. Working with a colour palette reflecting the wild places of the South of England that informed his work in the early 20th century, we have built a collection around those uniquely British elements; the heath and the hearth, the barren orchard and dark copse, the rugged coast and the rolling downs.

Standout pieces this season include the long sleeved version of our popular open collared Cuban shirt, beautiful Harris Tweed makeups in our Windsor and Hoxton jackets, a brand new shawl collared cardigan and a Mariner’s Parka lined with cloth from Somerset’s Fox Flannel.
