Aleks Cvetkovic | Spring Selects

Here at TE headquarters, we’re pretty proud of our new season collection, and like giddy kids on the first day back off our school holidays, we’ve been keen to show it off to some other folk whose opinions we trust.

First up, we asked Handcut Radio’s presenter, brand consultant and voice of sartorial wisdom Aleks Cvetkovic to pick out a few of his new favourite pieces for us. Now well into its third season, the Handcut Radio podcast is carving out a reputation as an authoritative voice on menswear matters.

With the enforced lock down, from this week, they will be transferring to a new platform and launching a series of interviews on Instagram Live Stream. Every Saturday at 7pm GMT, you can tune into @handcutradio and hear brand new and exclusive interviews with independent brands, small businesses & industry movers and shakers, in a brand new, fun, relaxed setting.

Brown Wool Fresco Suit Jacket

We all know that Fresco is the quintessential warm weather suiting cloth, and this top-half of a suit, cut in Hardy Minnis’s new Fresco Lite quality is a steal. Navy and grey are the classic options, but I rather like this warm shade of chocolate brown, perfect worn with the matching trousers and layered over light coloured linen shirts.

Yellow Linen Short Sleeved Shirt

This slubby linen resort shirt is awesome; the cloth has tons of character and I like the contrast between its rustic looks and crisp pointed collar. Short sleeves and a split hem add a touch of mid-century cool to this too.

Fullcount x Timothy Everest Ecru Jeans

I love FullCount jeans, especially the 105 model. As far as I’m concerned they’re one of the best Japanese denim makers around, which makes this one seriously cool collab. Ecru jeans look the nuts in spring, and the contrast stitching on these adds another dimension too.

Lilac Washed Linen Hoxton Shirt

Pastel colours start to come into their own at this time of year, and Timothy Everest’s washed linen shirts come in some really lovely colours. This dusty pink-cum-lilac number’s my personal favourite. It simply begs to be worn beneath the aforementioned chocolate fresco suit.
