This season at Timothy Everest we have added a new style to our collection in the form of the navy wool linen blouson.
Rethinking and reworking the classic workwear jacket; we wanted to add practicality and sustainability into its design. Working with the acclaimed Northern Irish weavers John England we have developed a material with the rugged good looks of denim, but with additional functionality.
While lightweight, the cloth provides exceptional advantages: the navy wool yarn weft gives the material warmth and structure, whilst the inward facing white linen has natural anti-wicking qualities and keeps you dry and cool, offering the jacket unrivalled versatility in the changing seasons.
The blouson is proudly made here in Britain, by one of the few companies awarded the Masters Of Linen accreditation, meaning that the fabric can be traced back to the field where the flax was grown.
Unlined and featuring real horn buttons and an internal patch pocket, this is an easy-to-wear piece which works equally well dressed down or smartened up.
