Stockholm based photographer Milad Abedi has been building a solid reputation as a menswear and lifestyle photographer for all the best brands and publications, and here at Timothy Everest, we have long been been admirers of his bold and colourful approach.
Milad’s background in club photography brings a frenetic, sometimes candid edge to his portraiture, adding a little more dimension and drama to his subjects than the usual street style pic takers.
We asked him to cast his discerning eye over our new ready-to-wear collection, and have some fun in our online virtual fitting room!
Anyone in menswear would agree on the status of the white shirt as a wardrobe staple. But where many would go for a classic dress shirt or even a more casual OCBD (Oxford cloth button down) I would love to play around with something unique like this one. Functionally it’s perfect for the warmer months. Especially if you size up and let the breeze in to cool you down. I would wear this with almost anything ranging from swim shorts after the beach or under a casual linen suit. Obviously with the cuban collar popped!
A great way to add more daring colour to you ensemble without screaming for attention is to go for strong washed out tones. This lilac linen shirt has just the right dash of crazy to it. And as a rule I think all summer shirts should have a pocket. It’s a great place to store your shades when you roll up your sleeves and skip the jacket.
