The Man From U.N.C.L.E

Henry Cavill was dressed in Timothy Everest Bespoke for his role in Guy Ritchie’s adaptation of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. which premiered in the summer of 2015.

Cavill reprised the role of bad boy CIA agent Napolean Solo in the film adaptation of Sam Rolfe’s 1960s TV series of the same name. Cavill starred opposite Armie Hammer who played KGB operative Illya Kuryakin; the two embark upon a joint mission against a mysterious criminal organisation to prevent the world from catastrophe.

Cavill’s character of Solo is sharply dressed throughout, donning a series of dashing three piece Bespoke creations our talented team made for him. To ensure the suit fitted his muscular physique perfectly (he was training for his role of Superman at the same time) we held a number of appointments with him to make any necessary tweaks as his frame evolved. These are the kind of nuances that set apart a Bespoke suit from something off-the-peg.

Solo’s wardrobe, for which we made all his suits, is sharp and dapper with a prominent shoulder and close fit to the body. His standout outfit is a 3 piece grey/blue windowpane check suit, with covered buttons and notch lapel. Another notable look is a striking slate grey notch lapel 3 piece, again with covered buttons, reviving a classic 1970s style but with a modern edge.
