This Sporting Life: A guide to the Sportcoat models at Timothy Everest

Here at Timothy Everest, we do not believe that Ready-To-Wear should mean that one style suits all; and our tailored casual range offers a lot of scope for different fits and patterns. To this end, we have three different models of Sportcoat this season to select from:

THE HOXTON: An easy wearing two button jacket with a single vent, two patch pockets and an out breast welt pocket, buggy lined and finished with real horn buttons. Made with travel in mind, the fit is comfortable and unfussy. This season it is available in a blue/green wool mix and a brown-green check.

THE WINDSOR: Taking the cue from our bespoke department, The Windsor is cut a little closer to the body, with a higher armhole. Single breasted with three buttons, angled flap pockets, an overlapping ticket pocket and out breast welt, it is fully lined with a single vent. The current models are a handsome navy black melange with an overcheck and a brown-grey check Harris Tweed.

THE SIMPLON: Based on a period costume piece we made for Murder On The Orient Express, The Simplon is an updated, contemporary take on a 1930s hunting jacket.  A four button stance joins inverted pleat patch pockets and a half belted “Norfolk” back detail. The most relaxed fit of our sportcoat range, it is available in a brown speckled wool linen mix and a blue and rust check Harris Tweed.
