A Right Royal Event

The Crown Season 4 On Netflix

It is time for a little regal rejoicing, as November 15th will see the return of the award-winning television show, The Crown, to small screens worldwide on Netflix.

Season Four begins in the late 1970s with Prince Charles, ably portrayed by Josh O’Connor, and his nascent relationship to Diana Spencer (Emma Corrin) set against the political upheavals of the day with a new Conservative government under Margaret Thatcher (with Gillian Anderson playing the Iron Lady).

With a cast largely unchanged from Season Three, we are again very proud to provide costumes and wardrobe for all the principal male roles. The aforementioned O’Connor, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip and Charles Dance as Lord Mountbatten are all dressed in Timothy Everest bespoke suiting and separates.
All outfits for the principal male roles – like this dinner suit worn by Prince Charles – were hand made at our Hoxton Atelier.

To celebrate the release, we look back at our bespoke tailoring work for the Emmy–award–winning costume and wardrobe department from the last four seasons.
