Is it just us, or have there been more sunny days of late? As such it seems to be a perfect time to launch two new styles of summer shirting here at Timothy Everest.
First, inspired by the easy breezy appeal of our camp collared Cuban shirts, we are pleased to unveil its more cosmopolitan cousin, the One Piece Cuban Collar shirt. While our Cuban has its roots firmly planted in Latin America, with a new one piece, rolling open collar, often referred to as a “lido” or “shark”, we feel that it has an altogether more Mediterranean feel. It is available in a crisp heavier gauge textured white cotton for a smart, sophisticated look.
This One Piece is joined by the new Linen Short Sleeved Shirt. With its pointed collar, wide button placket, straight hem and side splits, this is a no nonsense summer staple. The detail that makes it indispensable is the cooling open weave dual layer linen yarn from Irish mill John England. This yellow and white marl has a rich buttery striped texture and wicks away moisture with its quick drying composition.
Both shirts are available online now.
